Melbourne West Distribution Centre: Autonomous Safety in High-Traffic Aisles
Melbourne West Distribution Centre: Autonomous Safety in High-Traffic Aisles
The Client

Challenges
The facility operates on a tight schedule with narrow racking aisles (as seen in the photo) that leave zero margin for error.
Solution
We proposed the Greendorph YJ130 not as a cleaning machine, but as an "Autonomous Traffic Partner."
Advanced
Equipped with LiDAR & 3D camera, the YJ130 is intelligent enough to share the road. It detects approaching forklifts from 150m/50m/1m/10cm away and automatically yields or reroutes, ensuring it never becomes a bottleneck in the logistics flow.
Automated
Task Scheduling
Operators simply preset the cleaning tasks for off-peak hours via the app. The YJ130 automatically initiates its patrol sequence exactly on schedule, cleaning the vast concrete apron while the facility is quiet, requiring zero human supervision.
In aisles only a few meters wide, accuracy is key. The robot’s localization algorithm ensures it cleans edge-to-edge without ever scraping a safety barrier or a racking upright.
Results

The YJ130 has successfully automated the most difficult shift of the day.
